NWHS collaborates with the Arctic Plant Phenology Learning through Engaged Science program.
APPLES is a collaborative program between Penn State University, CSATS, The Polar Center, Fort Lewis College, UCDavis, and the National Science Foundation established to prepare elementary school , middle school, high school, and undergraduate educators to engage their students in authentic hands on local phenology research studies. The project is funded by National Science Foundation Grant # 1525636.
