Global Educational Resources

There are many resources available on the web that offer insight on Global Education.  The professional development course that is offered through Teachers for Global Classrooms opened my eyes to the interconnectness and cross curricular possibilities.

Google Earth

With Google Earth you can go anywhere without packing a single bag!  I use this resource to explain watersheds, biomes, geology, climate, and coastal zones.  It's interesting to read a story in one of the global newspapers and then go looking for the place of origin.  http://www.google.com/earth/
